- We provide you with a list of irregularities that need fixing before we can take over the support of your technology

  What type of "best practices" do we implement ?  
    - We implement a backup and recovery strategy for your servers and workstations
- We implement network security to avoid unwanted "visitors"
- We implement an antivirus strategy to minimize the risk of infection and down time

 

     
  What happens if a computer stops working ?    
    - Call Galyma and a technician will diagnose the problem.
- If there is a hardware issue, and the bad part is under warranty or under hardware contract, we contact the manufacturer for replacement. Otherwise, we dispatch a technician to replace the bad part and if need be, recover the data using the latest backup. We will only bill you for the replacement part, all the other work is covered by our services.
- If there is a network or software issue, the technician will try to resolve it by connecting through the internet or by dispatching a technician to resolve the issue on site.
- We always focus on getting you back to work ASAP !

 

     
  How much does it cost ?    
    - Impossible to say. Each case is different since it depends on the number of computers, the complexity of the networks and the initial setup.
- After the initial setup fee, we will charge a flat monthly fee per computer.

 

     
  What are the advantages of charging a monthly fee ?
    - It allows the customer to budget the cost of maintenance. Every month is the same.
- It provides a lower cost of maintenance compared to an "on call" system based on hours of work.
- Regardless of the number of hours a technician may take to provide a solution, the monthly fee is always the same.
- The customer is at ease because he does not need to watch the technician making sure he is working opposed to drinking coffee and charging by the hour.
- The Technician works in a relaxed environment because he is not being pressed to perform in the shortest time possible.
- The technician can provide a better service because he will perform as many diagnostics as necessary and make the right repairs without being bound by a time restriction.

 

     
  Why would you pay for a monthly maintenance if your equipment is working ?
    - For the same reason you want to have a health insurance plan. When sickness strikes, you do not want to be stuck with huge health bills. You want to have the peace of mind of being taken care without being concerned of cost.
